brown beef with garlic and onion in a 10 pan', 'add tomatoes , spaghetti sauce , spices , and sugar', 'simmer uncovered for 45 minutes', 'boil and drain lasagna noodles', 'mix ricotta cheese and parmesan cheese and some parsley', 'heat oven to 350 degrees', 'construct the lasagna with layers of noodles , meat sauce , ricotta cheese , and shredded cheese', 'i use two pans: an 8x8 and a 9x4 loaf pan , bake one and freeze the other', 'if you use a 13x9 you will probably need more lasagna noodles', 'bake with foil covering for 30 minutes', 'remove foil and bake uncovered another 15 minutes'

simple last minute dessert

my husband used to have a restaurant & when we would cater events we always made this salad. it was always a hit and never any leftovers, just a bit different from most on the site. the lettuce stays crisp for several days, excellent for a lite lunch. hope you enjoy.

this is a simple lemon bread recipe designed to use honey instead of sugar, the fewest amount of eggs possible, and common inexpensive not hard-to-find ingredients. i also included weight measurements for ease of measuring and for those who own a scale.

💬 Reviews (Simple and delicious. I subbed ricotta cheese with whipped cream and used plain yogurt. I cut the cake into 3 layers and slathered each one with the yogurt mix, layering with strawberries as well. Wow, decadent!)

this was posted in the montreal gazette. some one had requested a cheesecake made from the restaurant franny's that has been closed for quite some time now. this is in time for shavuot, which requires jews to eat dairy during the holiday.

💬 Reviews (This was sooo good !!! I was a little afraid of making this but , what a suprise ! The ricotta/yogurt mixture tasted a little like cheesecake to me ! It was wonderful !! I used fresh strawberries . I think you could get away with using a light fruit pie filling if you wanted . I assembled this about 2 hours before dinner and let it chill . Just the perfect dessert , light , fruity and creamy ! Thanks for a new favorite dessert !! Can't wait to try it with different fruit !)

preheat oven to 190c sprinkle the lemon juice over the chicken breasts', 'mix the flour , salt and paprika in large plastic bag', 'place chicken in the bag and shake the chicken in the flour mixture', 'heat the oil in a frypan over high heat and fry the chicken to just brown', 'transfer chicken to a baking dish', 'sprinkle chicken with the grated lemon rind and soft brown sugar', 'cover with slices of lemon and pour over the chicken stock', 'cover with foil and bake for 25 30 minutes', 'serve when ready'

the simple things in life are the best. served with rice and salad this makes for a simple, easy and great tasting dish to make after a long hard day.

💬 Reviews (The possibilities are endless here! I was constrained by what I already had in the house. I made three versions, one with cherry preserves, one with frozen wild blueberries, and one with bananas (and coffee yogurt). They were all good, but the cherry was our favorite, it tasted kind of like pie! I think another reviewer's suggestion of using pie filling is a great idea. I used a one to one ratio with the ricotta and yogurt, so you could really taste the ricotta. It was great!)
