Whisk together the buttermilk, hot pepper sauce, and 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper in a bowl. Pour the mixture over the chicken, stir to coat all sides of the chicken pieces, and cover the dish with plastic wrap. Refrigerate for about 2 hours to marinate. Remove the chicken pieces from the buttermilk mixture, and shake off excess. Discard the remaining buttermilk mixture. Place the flour, 1 tablespoon of cayenne pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and salt and pepper to taste in a large plastic zipper bag, and shake well to combine. Place 2 or 3 pieces of chicken at a time into the plastic bag, and shake well to coat the chicken pieces with seasoned flour. Heat oil in a deep-fryer or large saucepan to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Gently place chicken pieces into the hot oil, and fry until chicken is cooked through and golden brown, 8-10 minutes (breasts and wings) or 13 to 15 minutes (thighs and drumsticks). Cook and stir just until fragrant. Mix in the green beans, cover and cook to your desired doneness, at least 5 minutes. Uncover, and stir in the cream and cheese just until everything is coated. 💬 Reviews (After reading the reviews I went ahead and heavily altered this recipe. But first, as a note to those of you using chicken breast: place the meat in a plastic baggy and pound the meat into a more uniform width. This will make cooking moist chicken far easier! I only had chicken tenders on hand. I salted and peppered and marinated them in Dijon mustard for a half hour while I got the onions, garlic, and beans ready. I cooked according to the recipe, browning the meat on both sides before throwing in the onion, and then roughly 2 minutes later, the garlic. I also poured in a healthy dollop of white wine (between 1/4 and 1/2 cup) and set it to simmer while I cooked up my noodles. I added the green beans, added a bit of garlic salt on top of them, and let the entire thing cook down for roughly 20 minutes. I added 3T of 2% milk at the end, removed everything but the sauce, and let it reduce while I finished the noodles. Cooked like this, the chicken came out moist, tender, and super flavorful. In the future, I may cook the green beans only on top of the chicken, as they absorbed the mustard flavor more readily than the meat. Next time I will squeegee more of the mustard off before tossing it into the skillet! I served it on top of Rotini pasta. If I do this again, I will serve it on white rice instead.')

Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 1 1/2 hours, adding more water if necessary. Place the potatoes, onions, and carrots in the pot. Continue to simmer for another 30 minutes to 1 hour, or until all vegetables are tender. Remove the meat and vegetables to a serving platter. In a separate small bowl, dissolve 1 1/2 tablespoons flour and 2 tablespoons water for every one cup liquid remaining in the pot. Add this to the pot and stir well until thickened. 💬 Reviews (This recipe was excellent, but I will make a few changes next time. I will add enough water/stewed tomatoes to cover the ribs while they cook for 1 1/2. The liquid only went up about 1/2 way on the ribs and it took a long time for them to break down. I added a bay leaf when I added the vegetables and that gave it a great flavor. I also added quite a bit of water when cooking the vegetables. This was a great meal with fresh bread, good wine and great friends. Thanks.')

Reduce heat to low, saute onion, celery and garlic, scraping up browned bits. Cover, and cook on low for 15 minutes. Mix in cream of mushroom soup and beer. Wrap bay leaves and cloves in cheesecloth, tie with string, and add to pan. Place roast on top of vegetables, spooning some sauce over meat. Cover with foil, and place lid over foil to seal well. Reduce heat, and simmer 1 1/2 hours. Remove meat from pan, and slice. Return to the pan, and spoon sauce over. Cook an additional 30 minutes
