combine all ingredients in an oven proof dish stir well , until sugar dissolves bake in a very slow oven 225 degrees for about 3 hours', 'stir the mixture every 1 / 2 hour until the rice is completely dissolved', 'cool completely and refrigerate until well chilled', 'serve very cold with cream'

    chicken broth', 'long grain rice', 'onions', 'celery', 'butter', 'mushrooms', 'fresh parsley', 'poultry seasoning', 'salt', 'black pepper'

🍳 Directions

in large pot , bring rice and 3 and 1 / 2 cups of broth to a boil , then lower heat and simmer for 20 minutes or until tender', 'meanwhile , melt butter in skillet and saute onions and celery until softened , then add remaining broth and all other remaining ingedients', 'combine rice with sauteed vegetables , pour into a greased 13 x 9 baking dish , and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes'

    onion', 'garlic', 'olive oil', 'rice', 'salt', 'black pepper', 'chili powder', 'button mushrooms', 'chorizo sausage', 'beef stock', 'parmesan cheese'

🍳 Directions

saut the onion and garlic in hot olive oil until just soft', 'add the rice and seasonings and brown lightly', 'add the mushrooms and sausage and enough boiling stock to come 1 above the rice', 'cover with a tight lid and bake in a 350f', 'oven until the liquid is completely absorbed , about 35 minutes', 'sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese and serve'

💬 Reviews (Really enjoyed this. . .but then you know I am a sucker for veggie/bean soup! I did cheat and used veggie broth instead of the water to boil. Instead of regular tomato paste, I used sundried tomato paste (don't think it made a difference here). I added some fresh chopped spinach and some mushrooms that needed a home. Instead of regular salt, I added Greek Seasoning which has salt in it. I really liked it!!! Made for my SSaSSy teammate for ZWT6, Greece.)

in ungreased 2 quart casserole combine eggs , milk , sugar , vanilla , and 1 / 4 teaspoon salt', 'beat until combined but not foamy', 'stir in cooked rice and raisins', 'place casserole in a 13x9x2-inch baking dish on an oven rack', 'pour boiling water into baking dish around the casserole to a depth of 1 inch', 'bake in a 325 degree oven for 30 minutes', 'stir well', 'sprinkle with nutmeg and cinnamon', 'bake for 20 to 30 minutes more or until knife inserted near the center comes out clean', 'serve warm or cold', 'to serve cold , cover and chill pudding for up to 3 days'

💬 Reviews (This is really delicious. DH, DD (toddler) & I throughly enjoyed this one. I used about a quarter homemade chicken stock for the liquid and that probably didn't do much but it ended up so flavourful anyway. I used white navey beans, I actually didn't have any celery so I added just a little celery seeds for the flavour. I used a good canned plum tomatoes to success, lastly I used sea salt and the rest as listed. I will make this again.
