i always have these ingredients on hand and can whip these tropical smoothies up in no time. the berry medley consists of raspberry, blueberry, strawberry and blackberry. this makes a great afternoon snack or when the boys are headed for football practice. i'll make one before going to the grocery store, so i don't go hungry.... yawl know what i'm talking about!
💬 Reviews (This was ok... I really think that it would have been a whole lot better if I had used boneless/skinless chicken breasts. I used split bone-in w/ skin chicken breasts. The part of the skin I did eat did have a good flavor. Thanks for sharing! I will update when I try it with the boneless/skinless breasts...)

in a mixing bowl , cream the butter and sugar together', 'add the eggs one at a time , beating well after each addition', 'combine the dry ingredients together with a whisk', 'add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture alternately with the buttermilk , beginning and ending with the dry ingredients', 'stir in cranberry sauce and blueberries by hand', 'pour into four greased mini loaf pans', 'bake at 350f for 25-30 minutes or until bread passes a toothpick test', 'cool for 10 minutes before removing from pans and cooling completely on a wire rack'

grind walnuts in a blender', 'melt butter over high heat', 'add sugar , stirring until it foams up well', 'continue over high heat , adding almonds', 'continue to cook , stirring continually until mixture is color of caramel and sugar is all melted', 'stir as you take it off the heat permanently and pour quickly onto a large , flat pan with sides', 'tilt to spread evenly , wait 5 minutes , then pour on chocolate chips', 'spread chocolate over top of the hot mixture with a rubber scraper once melted', 'scatter ground walnuts over the top , shaking to even', 'cool at least three hours at room temperature', 'break into pieces'

this is a recipe from the muffin lady cookbook, that i changed a little bit. it makes a delicious, bakery style muffin. i use a frozen berry mix, and the combination is heavenly.
💬 Reviews (Absolutely delicious, tender chicken that is crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I have made this recipe several times just for me, using one boneless, skinless chicken breast. I always halve the flour but add the other spices as directed, which makes for a more flavorful coating for the chicken. I also halve the recipe for the sauce, and always toss in an extra squirt or two of lemon juice to counteract the sweetness. Other than that I always follow the instructions exactly, which are right on the money with respect to baking time. The chicken is never overdone or undercooked. Overall an extremely easy recipe that has become one of my standards! I usually serve with rosemary potatoes (I just toss some sliced potatoes in a skillet with some onions, and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and rosemary)--the combination of sweet and salty is perfect. Thanks for a winner!)

cut flour tortillas into quarters and deep fry until crispy mix cinnamon and sugar in plastic bag and shake hot chips until evenly coated', 'decorate 4 small plates with caramel and chocolate syrup', 'place 4 chips on each plate', 'slightly warm hot fudge sauce and spread a heaping spoonful on each chip', 'place sliced strawberries evenly over chips', 'sprinkle blueberries and raspberries over all , saving 16 raspberries for garnish', 'using the can of whipped cream , put a nice decorative squirt of whipped cream on each chip', 'put a reserved raspberry on top of each', 'drizzle a small amount of chocolate and caramel syrup over all'

very easy, elegant looking dessert. nice finish for a mexican meal. very popular recipe from a former restaurant i worked for. chips can be made ahead, but assembly should be at the last minute. feel free to use other berries or fruit.
