a rachael ray recipe that i haven't gotten around to trying, but definitely will.

💬 Reviews (The first time I made this recipe I goofed and did not do it justice (I did not puree the sauce properly and the result was an unattractive lumpy sauce over the sprouts). It is a bit of a workup but well worth it. Be sure that you puree the onion squash etc to a smooth consistency and add enough of the left over broth so the sauce is like a medium heavy gravy. The combination of flavors and spices is wonderful and compliments the brussels sprouts Thanks Rita great recipe)

wonderful twist on french toast! the syrup is in the toast :-)

💬 Reviews (These are sooo good. And easy to make, too. I added 2 jalapenos, chopped, to the batter and went a little heavier on the hot sauce and they were delicious. I did have to cook them longer than 3 minutes to get them brown in the pan, and then finish them in a 300 degree oven, but that may be because I made them larger than the recipe says to. Nevertheless, great recipe!)

this recipe won food network magazines first 'secret-ingredient recipe contest'. the secret ingredient was maple syrup. kara sow created this delicious winner!

💬 Reviews (I made this for dinner tonight, it was really nice. I used canned black-eyed peas (2 cans) to save time and they worked really well. I like the texture of the whole peas in the cakes. I used pickled jalapenos for the sauce, as I didn't have any fresh on hand. Served these with cornmeal fritters and turnip greens. The whole family loved them. Thanks!)
