    pork sausage', 'italian sausage', 'bacon', 'butter', 'flour', 'milk', 'ham soup base', 'salt and pepper'

🍳 Directions

brown and crumble the italian and pork sausage in a big pot', 'cook and crumble the bacon and add to the pot with some of the drippings', 'add the butter or margarine if there is not a lot of grease', 'do not drain', 'add the flour to the pan with the sausage to make a sort of roux', 'cook over medium low for about 5-10 minutes', 'add the milk and cook for about 10-15 minutes until thick', 'thin with milk as needed', 'season with some of the ham base , salt , and pepper as you desire'

my grandma and dad made this in the family restaurant..way before we knew how bad it was for us. it is really great for a treat, though..especially over biscuits. the amounts are approximate..i never have measured..

I used a yellow pepper and added all ingredients, and the Season-All was perfect in this salad. I threw some dried salami I had purchased from our local Wegmans, and this was oh so tasty. the other grandkids and i always ask our grandmother to make her biscuits and gravy for us! so i knew i had to get her recipe. this is a simple sausage gravy that you can use over your favorite biscuits, whether store-bought or homemade! i have used skim milk before, and it worked fine... just be patient since it takes longer to thicken.

i came up with this one day after trying out other recipes on my children that they rejected. i have one son who doesn't eat eggs, so it makes hit hard to make a breakfast casserole everyone will eat. i finally did it with this one!

fry the diced bacon until slightly crisp , pour out bacon and grease and set aside until later', 'fry the sausage in the same dutch oven until browned , adding a little of the pepper to the sausage as it cooks', 'add the bacon grease and 1 / 4th of the bacon to the cooked sausage', 'cook on low and add the butter until melted', 'add the flour and season salt', 'cook for 3 minutes to get rid of the flour taste', 'stirring constantly', heat to medium , slowly add the milk , only enough at a time so it doesn't get too runny, 'add the rest of the bacon', 'add the salt and pepper for your taste', 'i believe the more pepper the better', 'the longer this simmers the more flavor it has', 'this is great with biscuits , hashbrowns or chicken fried steak', 'i always divide the gravy into plastic bowls enough for 1 meal and freeze for another day'

🍳 Directions

in a large skillet , brown , cook sausage and ground beef for 15 minutes and drain', 'place in a 4-5 quart slow cooker sprayed with vegetable cooking spray', 'add salsa , mushroom soup , tomatoes , green chilies , garlic powder , and oregeno and stir well', 'fold into cheese', 'cover and cook on low for 1 hour or until cheese melts', 'stir once during cooking', 'serve from cooker'

💬 Reviews (Super simple macaroni salad that tastes delicious! Hubby almost licked the bowl and went back for thirds! That's rare!!! I added half pound deli ham, one cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese and an extra egg. I also used half cup mayo and half cup light sour cream. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!! (I suggest substituting celery with peas, hubby's request for next time!!!))

💬 Reviews (I followed this recipe to the t planning on sharing it with my neighbor.After tasting I decided to chill it overnight but the next day it was still very disappointing.I can't put my finger on the problem. It was just too overseasoned and nothing special or new.I would never spend money and although easy, waste my time making it. Just my humble opinion)
