slice chicken into bite size pieces', 'in large dutch oven or pan heat oil over medium high heat', 'stir fry chicken for 2 minutes', 'add gingerroot , garlic and pepper and stir fry 2 more minutes', 'stir in chicken broth , rice and soy sauce', 'bring to a boil , then reduce heat and simmer , covered , 10 minutes', 'stir in snow peas , carrots and green onions and heat through for 2 minutes', 'serve'

this is a really tasty soup. i picked up the recipe from byerly's grocery store chain based in the twin cities. i actually prefer cooked brown rice in this soup.
💬 Reviews (Made this for 'zaar tag and it was very good. I used regular spaghetti, and forgot to put the ginger in (oops!), but other than that, I stuck to the recipe. Next time though, I think I might add some chopped green chilis for spice. I served this Asian spiced pork chops and stir fried sugar snap peas. It would be equally good on its own though. batter-combine dry ingredients in large bowl , gradually add water and mix to a smooth batter , whisk for three minutes , cover and let stand for 30 minutes', 'sauce-combine all ingredients , mix well and set aside', 'heat 2 cups oil in wok to 350 degrees f', 'place chicken pieces in batter', 'remove chicken piece individually from batter and drop into hot oil one at a time , fry until golden brown', 'drain on paper towels', 'repeat with remaining chicken in batches', 'set chicken aside', 'in clean wok heat remaining 2 tbs oil', 'stir fry ginger pieces for two minutes', 'stir sauce mixture and add to ginger stirring until sauce is boiling , reduce heat , and simmer for 3 minutes', 'add chicken , mangoes and scallions to simmering sauce and toss for 3 minutes', 'serve immediately , otherwise the batter will soften', 'i recommend that this dish be served over jasmine rice and garnished with a sprinkling of toasted sesame seeds'

in a bowl , combine the sauce ingredients', 'cover and refrigerate for 2-4 hours', 'in a large resealable plastic bag , combine the soy sauce , brown sugar , water , sesame oil , pepper flakes and ginger', 'add the chicken', 'seal bag and turn to coat', 'refrigerate for 2 hours , turning occasionally', 'drain and discard marinade', 'in a bowl , toss the red bell pepper and onions with olive oil and salt', 'on six metal or soaked wooden skewers , alternately thread one chicken piece and bell pepper and onion', 'grill , covered , over medium heat for 4-5 minutes on each side or until chicken juices run clear and veggies are crisp-tender', 'serve with dipping sauce'
