restaurant style pizza dough recipe by weight

🍴 Ingredients

    flour', 'warm water', 'salt', 'active dry yeast', 'sugar'

🍳 Directions

place water and sugar in mixing bowl , stir to combine and add the yeast', 'allow yeast to sit until it starts to bubble 10 minutes or so', 'then add the flour and salt', 'run mixer on low speed for 2 minutes or until combined', 'then run on medium for 10 minutes', 'remove the dough from the bowl and form it into a ball', 'place the dough in another bowl or even a gallon ziploc bag , and rub olive oil on it to keep it from drying out', 'let it rest for 1 1 / 2 hours or until double in size', 'preheat oven to 500 degrees', cut the dough in half for two regular pizza's or cut it into 4 pieces for thin crust pizza's, 'roll out the dough and place your favorite toppings on it', 'bake at 500 degrees for about 10-12 minutes', 'for a pizza with heavy or a lot of toppings , par bake the crust for about 4-5 minutes', 'i hope you enjoy this recipe !'

i have looked for a couple of years for a good restaurant style pizza dough recipe i could make at home. most of the recipe's i had tried tasted like bread, not pizza dough. this is the closest i have found to a great dough recipe! please note recipe is by weight, you will need a scale. measuring by weight allows exact measurement and can be duplicated perfectly each time. the recipe is based on 65%-68% hydration. salute to forno bravo for the recipe.

i have never been satisfied with store bought or ranch dressing recipes. this one is thick, fresh tasting and doesn't have that mayonnaise flavor. tastes very similar to that dressing from that famed aussie steak restaurant if you add paprika and cayenne to it. this is my own recipe and i had a party and served it with fresh veggies and it got rave reviews. hope you like it.

pan roast with , no oil , the unpeeled garlic cloves and jalapeno peppers on medium-high until skins are darkened on all sides', 'about 5 minutes for the jalapenos and 8-10 minutes for the garlic', 'peel garlic and add to food processor with jalapeno and onion', 'process until ingredients are finely minced', 'add all remaining ingredients and process until smooth', 'cool for one hour in refrigerator prior to serving'

you sit down at a mexican restaurant and they bring you a bowl of chips and salsa. you have one chip, dip it, but can't stop there. you continue until all the chips and salsa are gone and ask for more. this is that salsa. it is great on any dish from tacos to scrambled eggs. adjust the amount of jalapeno peppers and salt to suite your own palate. with the two jalapenos, this version is spicy.

And it looked so pretty with the roasted red peppers and onions! I actually mixed the dressing together and added the frozen green beans to 'marinade' for a half hour or so. in small bowl , mix all dry ingredients', 'set aside', 'brown meat in a skillet', 'when done , drain off fat', 'return skillet to burner', 'sprinkle on seasoning mix and add tomato paste and bouillon', 'add water and stir well to coat meat', 'let simmer for about 15 minutes , or until the majority of the water cooks off'

i loathe store bought taco seasoning. the flavor of it is so overpowering that you can hardly taste anything else on your taco! i found this recipe and adapted it a bit to suit my own tastes. i'm posting it on here mostly to be able to find it whenever i want to make it again. **note: sometimes i substitute 1 tsp of store-bought taco seasoning in place of 1 tsp chili powder. you can't pick the flavor of the store-bought stuff out and it helps bring the flavors together a bit**

I added feta cheese after family members said - this is great - would be even better with some feta and so it was. I also left out the sugar - the fresh beans added enough of their own sweetness. We gave it 5 stars.)
