🍳 Directions
place octopus in a large pan with plenty of water and boil for 2 hours', 'remove from heat', 'wash and remove the skin', 'cut in desired size pieces', 'in a bowl , combine all the ingredients , except the lemon juice , and add octopus', 'mix well', 'cover', 'and refrigerate for several hours or overnight', 'when ready to serve , stir in the lemon juice'

this is an adopted recipe and should be made with larger, older, not itty bitty baby octopus. the flavour of vinegar and lemon here are strong and not to everyone's taste. if you are fond of tako sashimi, this is not for you. but if mediterranean fish salads are your thing, this is authentic.
💬 Reviews (I love this recipe! Wasn't quite sure about that 1 cup of butter (yes, I used butter lol), but boy does it add a little something to the texture. Like the other reviewer, I had to add an extra 2 cups of flour, as it was way too sticky to handle. Came together nicely though after the rising time. I managed to squeeze 21 rolls out of this recipe. Very much a keeper. Made for PAC Fall '08.)

💬 Reviews (This is a great recipe! I halved the recipe and still got a dozen large cinnamon rolls. It nearly filled a 9x13 pan. I love that this recipe doesn't require waiting around for long periods of time for dough to double and double again. The hot water trick did the job for me and my rolls were ready in under 2 hours start to finish and ready for breakfast when everyone woke up.)

there is a lovely little french cafe i have been to that serves the best olives on the table. the secret is in the marinade. instead of purchasing seasoned olives from your local olive bar, try seasoning them yourself. you'll be very pleased with the outcome. also makes a lovely gift.
💬 Reviews (This was a lovely dough but as mentioned by some other reviewers, I had to add two more cups of flour. I think that much extra flour calls for the addition of a bit more sugar as well as a bit more salt. I ended up with 21 nice sized rolls and my husband and mother both loved them.)

in a food processor or blender , mix all the herbs , garlic and lemon juice', 'slowly add olive oil and blend', 'add zest', 'pour marinade over olives', 'they can be served immediately but will improve with a day to marinate'

many grocery stores now carry bulk olives. i buy large bulk green olives, with pits, and dress them up with this flavor-packed marinade. it's a wonderful appetizer during the summer when fresh herbs are plentiful. serve with wine and cheese for a wonderful summertime appetizer.

Very easy to make and the recipe doesn't use anything you wouldn't have on hand! I thought about substituting peaches for the oranges, but I'm glad I didn't. They added just a little kick that made it really refreshing!)

marinated orange stir fry chicken

- orange juice', 'garlic', 'ground ginger', 'soy sauce', 'orange zest', 'boneless skinless chicken breasts', 'vegetable oil', 'cornstarch', 'frozen pea pods'

stir together orange juice and peel , garlic , soy sauce , and ginger', 'reserve 1 / 2 cup and put the rest into a bowl', 'add chicken to marinade in bowl', 'let sit 15 minutes', 'heat oil in a nonstick 10 inch skillet', 'drain marinade from chicken , discarding it', 'add chicken to hot oil in skillet', 'stir fry approximately 3 to 5 minutes until chicken is a pale white and done', 'take the reserved marinade and add the cornstarch , stirring unti smooth', 'pour into skillet with the chicken', 'heat until boiling , stirring constantly', 'boil for 1 minute', 'add pea pods', 'lower heat', 'simmer , covered for 1 minute', 'serve over rice'

this is a great flavored quick fix dinner. we sometimes add red pepper flakes into the marinade just before cooking it for some extra zip. glorious over steamed jasmine rice. prep time includes marinade time.
