👩 description

from a russian food site, this is simple and good! take a moment to enjoy.

💬 Reviews (Yummy! I had leftovers that needed to be eaten: cottage cheese and cooked hamburger. So I looked for something to match that. Since I also had two pretty zucchini, this looked the most promising for what I needed to do. Normally I would mix these ingredients (without the cottage cheese and egg) in the saute pan, so I didn't even realize it was a casserole at first. But I'm glad I made it, and made it as written, because this is very tasty! I'll probably stick to my usual everything-in-the-pan most of the time, but I hope I remember this yummy recipe the next time it fits my leftovers!)

deep hearty flavor. excellent recipe. found it on the internet-said it was adapted from darra goldstein's book a taste of russia notes: 01/07/08: barley's cooking time varies(i've had quick barley take 45 minutes to cook)so in step 6, cook until tender enough to your taste. the soup may require more liquid; i now keep a 4th can of consomme on hand to add, along with another 1 1/4 cups of water if it's getting too thick.

this is a recipe i came up with trying to duplicate my favorite omelet from an old local seattle restaurant called the steak and eggs. i usually use leftover potatoes from recipe #177125 and often times make this in the microwave with my microwave omelet maker.

💬 Reviews (Excellent! I did change a cpl things to use what I had on hand. Instead of pepperoni I used beef summer sausage cut up, one can of rotel and one can of tomato soup. I would make again for sure. Husband loved it because it had noodles.)
