these crab cakes are baked, not fried which make them healthier. kids love to help make this recipe. serve it on hamburger buns with a slice of american cheese, lettuce and some crabby patty (tartar) sauce! i named these special for my grandson. does not include four hours chill time.

combine all ingredients except oil in a large bowl', 'mixing well', 'form into 10 crabby potato cakes', 'meanwhile heat oil in a large skillet', 'cook cakes 3 minutes on one side and after flipping carefully cook another 2 minutes', 'drain cakes on plate lined with paper towel and keep warm until all cakes are cooked'

ready, set, cook! special edition contest entry: i love crab cakes and potato pancakes and this recipe is a great combo of both loves. i wasn't sure if i should make a suace but while my husband was scarfing down his third crabby potato cake he said their good just like this. i would fry the cakes in small batches so they don't burn. may serve with fresh lime wedges.

💬 Reviews (We don't have PF Chang here in Ontario so I cannot speak to how closely it resembles the original but it is an excellent dish! Made more or less as directed - I made 50% more sauce but did not increase the sugar. I was using a Prime Rib Steak so I didn't cook it as long in the sauce as suggested. Served with steamed rice and stir fried vegertables it was a hit at my table. Thanks for posting!)

💬 Reviews (My husband always raved about PF Chang's Mongolian Beef. The first time I ever tried it I had to agree. However, we live in Montana, and the only time we ever have PF Chang is when we go down to Las Vegas. So I was ecstatic to find this recipe. It does the trick and more when we are craving Mongolian Beef. The only change we wake is to use water chestnuts instead of the onions. Thank you so much for posting this recipe.)

💬 Reviews (I was surprised, but this recipe is the real deal. The beef turned out great and did indeed taste just like PF Chang's. I made a couple adjustments - used only 1/2 C brown sugar and added a couple splashes of rice vinegar to balance the sweetness. I also only used about 2 TBSP veg. oil to fry the meat in and it turned out fantastic.)

💬 Reviews (YUMMMY!!!!!!!!! What a hit!! I did cook the meat in batches, and it was easier. I did not use as much oil as stated 1cup, way to much. While cooking meat in batches I added the sauce a little at a time and it was great!!! I will be making again. =D)
