in a large bowl , combine 1 / 4 cup soy sauce , olive oil , salt & pepper , then add chicken tenders , cover & refrigerate for 1 hour', 'in a small bowl , whisk together the honey , peanut butter , the last 2 tablespoons of soy sauce & the teriyaki sauce', 'heat a large grill pan over medium-high heat for about 3 minutes or until it is smoking', 'remove chicken from marinade & discard the marinade', 'cook the tenders , turning once , for about 6 minutes per side , or until cooked through', 'garnish sauce with the chopped peanuts , if desired , & serve with the tenders'

this is a recipe i have been making since the 70's and is a real time saver when you need a quick dinner. my dh and his mother, now aged 87, god bless her, cannot easily tolerate spicy foods, and so this was created to soothe and make tummies feel good. that said, this recipe can easily be tweaked to spicy for those of us who still love the heat.

💬 Reviews (This ia a moist, flavorful bread. I used slightly smaller loaf pans than the ones specified, and the recipe was enough to make two large loaves, and two miniature loaves. (I filled each pan 3/4 full.) Instead of using 3/4 teaspoon nutmeg, I used 1/2 teaspoon, and added 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves. The larger loaves were ready in 45 minutes. (The miniature loaves took only about 35 minutes to bake.) I sliced the loaves, and topped each slice with Lemon-Cream cheese Frosting. (Recipe ID# 70860). With the abundance of zucchini this year, I'm sure I'll be baking this bread again!)
