Prep 20 m Cook 2 h Ready In 2 h 20 m Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Saute celery, onion, and garlic in hot oil until tender, 5 to 7 minutes. Stir ground beef and chorizo with the vegetable mixture, breaking meat into increasingly smaller chunks as you cook and stir until the meat is completely browned, 7 to 10 minutes. Stir tomato sauce, stewed tomatoes, tomato paste, and diced tomatoes with green chile peppers into the beef mixture, respectively; season with chili seasoning mix. Bring the mixture to a boil, reduce heat to low, and cook chili at a simmer until thickened, about 1 hour and 45 minutes

💬 Reviews (This is a hearty soup with just enough kick. I had chorizo in the freezer so thought this would be a good way to use it up. Only difference for me is I had a can of kidney beans so I threw it in. Will make again for sure.')

Prep 15 m Cook 1 h Ready In 3 h 15 m Stir wine, barbeque sauce, cider vinegar, hot pepper sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard together in bowl until well mixed. Place ribs in a baking dish; pour Burgundy wine mixture over ribs and coat completely. Mix onion powder and garlic powder together in a bowl. Dust ribs with powder mixture; let marinate 2 hours, turning once. Preheat grill for medium-low heat and lightly oil the grate. Grill ribs, covered, over indirect heat on the preheated grill for 45 minutes, turning once. Baste with barbeque sauce and grill until meat is tender, about 15 minutes, turning and basting frequently

💬 Reviews (Pretty good as is, but I have made some tweaks to make it spicier. Added spicy southern dry rub prior to marinating and also using Stubs Sweet Heat BBQ sauce to baste.')

Prep 15 m Cook 50 m Ready In 1 h 10 m Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Line 2 pie dishes with prepared pie crusts. Stir corn, peas, and carrots together in a microwave-safe glass or ceramic bowl and cover the bowl with plastic wrap. Cook in the microwave until tender, 2 to 6 minutes. Stir corn mixture, turkey, gravy, green beans, bacon bits, parsley, sage, thyme, and black pepper together in a large bowl. Divide turkey mixture even between the two prepared pie dishes. Place remaining crusts over the top of each pie, trim pastry to fit, crimp and pinch the edges together to seal. Cut 4 slits in the top of each pie. Whisk egg and water together in a small bowl. Brush egg mixture over the top of each pie. Fold a strip of aluminum foil around the outer edges of each pie crust. Bake in the preheated oven until browned and heated through, about 45 minutes. Cool for 5 to 10 minutes before serving

💬 Reviews (This recipe works very well with rottiserie chicken leftovers, also. I use a can of veg-all and instead of piecrust, I lay pillsbury buttermilk bisquits on top of casserole. Rediculously easy to make and very tasty.')

Prep 15 m Cook 1 h 15 m Ready In 1 h 45 m Bring water and 3 1/2 tablespoons olive oil to a boil in a large pot; stir in saffron rice. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed, 20 minutes. Heat 3 tablespoons olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat; cook and stir onions and garlic in hot oil until lightly browned and softened, 5 to 10 minutes. Stir chicken into skillet and cook until seared on all sides; add chicken broth. Bring broth to a boil, reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer until broth is reduced and chicken is tender, 30 to 45 minutes. Remove from heat. Shred chicken using two forks to pull chicken cubes apart. Preheat oven to 385 degrees F (196 degrees C). Grease a 9x12-inch baking dish. Spread 1/2 the rice in a layer on the bottom of the baking dish. Spoon chicken and onion mixture over rice; spread chickpeas and raisins over chicken mixture. Top with remaining rice and sprinkle with paprika. Bake in the preheated oven until liquid is almost completely cooked off and rice is lightly browned at the edges, about 30 minutes. Cool for 15 minutes before serving

💬 Reviews (My son loved this! Made the recipe as instructed, but added a bit of salt and pepper when cooking chicken, and cooked the chicken for less time, as it was already done at 25 min or so. Next time I would add more raisins, and spice it up a bit more (my husband wanted more spice). However, my son even wanted the leftovers for breakfast!')
